Southwestern University has received resources for the Music Department through a generous gift from the Rockley Family Foundation! We are thrilled to continue this collaboration. As part of this partnership, pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available for public purchase Thursday-Saturday, January 9-11, 2025 in the Alma Thomas Fine Arts Center. Featured in this event are instruments provided to other institutions by the Rockley Family Foundation but do not include any from Southwestern’s previously donated and purchased collection.

As part of this partnership, pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available for public purchase 
Thursday-Saturday, January 9-11, 2025

A large selection of grands, baby grands, Disklavier pianos, vertical (upright) pianos, hybrid pianos, digital pianos, violins, violas and cellos will be available. This event will feature starter to professional level instruments from Yamaha, Seiler, Pramberger, Italia Fine Violins, a discrete selection of vintage Steinway & Sons pianos, and many others. Most instruments are less than one-year old, include a service contract, are tuned, and ready to play. Delivery and special no-interest financing is available on site and, in most cases, a substantial portion of your purchase could be considered as a tax-deductible charitable contribution.*

BY APPOINTMENT: You are invited to attend a special private sale on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, January 9-11, along with our faculty and staff. This will give you an opportunity to purchase with priority in selection and price reductions.
